At Longlevens Rugby, our Men’s and Women’s Mixed Ability teams bring the inclusive mixed ability rugby ethos to Gloucester. We welcome:
- Men and women from 16 years old (17 for matches), any experience and fitness levels included!
- No rugby experience? Come along anyway! Total newbies through to former players are equally welcome
- A focus on adaptation, not exclusion—so every session and fixture is designed to bring everyone into play
Women’s training is Mondays from 19:00 – 20:30.


Men’s Training is Wednesday 18:30-20:00

Who It’s For
This team is for both genders either with disabilities or without disabilities, and the carers or families who support them. We aim to empower all participants, including those with physical or learning disabilities or mental health challenges, and build a shared sense of belonging in rugby.

From age 16 (17 for games)
Equipment
- Comfortable clothing for moving freely – shorts/leggings, T-shirt
- Studded boots (rugby or football)
- Water bottle
- Gum shield (ideally)
Social
The clubhouse bar is open on Wednesday’s from 6 – 10 pm and serves a range of bar snacks, hot drinks, and cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Monday’s is dependent on other bookings so please check with the women’s section for opening.
The social side of MAR is very active with many people forming connections both on and off the pitch, in the clubhouse and outside and is a key positive attribute of MAR.
Several large TV play a variety of sporting events.
